APICS CLTD

Many organizations in today’s environment are active on a worldwide basis with sourcing, assembling, manufacturing and distributing networks spanning the globe. This has led to an increased importance of the physical movement of raw materials, parts and finished products in today’s supply chains. Also the importance of managing the required documentation flows and compliance to various regulations has increased tremendously as items are being moved between continents and regions with different laws, requirements and regulations.

The Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) certification is designed to provide individuals with a body of knowledge, best practices, technology know-how and standards to manage, execute and control the physical flow of items as well as the documentation flows required within their supply chain(s).
