This one-day event, featuring the business simulation The Fresh Connection provides a dynamic platform for young professionals to compete against other corporate teams while gaining valuable insights into the operations of a fruit juice manufacturer facing economic turbulence.

  • Innovative Learning: In this action-oriented training format, participants take on the challenge of managing a fruit juice manufacturer in economic turmoil. The supply chain appears to have multiple logistical weaknesses. A new management team is now tasked with steering the company out of the crisis. Teams, each filling the roles of Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Supply Chain, must work together to lead the fruit juice manufacturer to a positive Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Networking: This is an outstanding opportunity for your employees to network with like-minded individuals from different companies and industries, exchange experiences, and explore potential future collaborations.

The winning team of the Young Professionals Challenge will receive free access for each team member to the PMI Supply Chain Academy (eLearning courses) for 1 year.

Furthermore, all participating teams, as in the past, qualify for the online competition The Fresh Connection Global Professional Challenge, where teams from more than 30 countries compete annually. After participating in our SPRING or AUTUMN Edition, the top teams will be invited to the global final in November, where they will compete for the Global PRO Challenge World Trophy as well as an exclusive, custom-designed Supply Chain Finance Bootcamp.

Supply Chain Young Professionals (3-5 years of work experience) who compete with colleagues from their company in corporate teams of at least 3 and no more than 4 people against other participating teams for the best performance.

Team Participation (1-day event): € 2.995,- plus VAT per team (min. 3 people, max. 4 people)

The offer includes in detail:

  • One-day, German-speaking event Young Professionals Challenge (YPC) on the topic of S&OP
  • Debriefing of decisions made and their impact in the business simulation - individually with each team and via web conference after the event (duration 45 minutes). The appointment will be scheduled individually with each team.
  • Participation in the SPRING or AUTUMN Edition of the online competition PMI The Fresh Connection Global PRO Challenge (3 weeks, 3 rounds in May or October)
  • Qualification for the online competition The Fresh Connection Global PRO Challenge, in which teams from more than 30 countries annually participate in the final in November. Winning teams from the SPRING or AUTUMN Edition (as above) are invited to the remote final in November, where they compete for the main prize of the challenge: the Global PRO Challenge World Trophy as well as an exclusive, custom-designed Supply Chain Finance Bootcamp.
  • The winning team of the Young Professionals Challenge receives free access for each team member to PMI's Supply Chain Academy (eLearning courses) for 1 year.
