World premiere: SCOR Digital Standard workshop in Frankfurt

World premiere: First public SCOR DS workshop in Frankfurt after the new release of the SCOR model in Sept 2022.

We love using soccer analogies to explain “how to play supply chain”... and although yesterday was tough for the German team, we still believe that this analogy helps us bringing our message  across. If you could step into any supply chain team and things “just worked”, because everyone knew how to play supply chain, wouldn’t this be awesome?

But we know that most supply chain teams do not have and certainly cannot explain the set of rules by which they play. This means these teams struggle and do not play at their best. And when a supply chain team struggles, the entire organization struggles.

But there is a set of rules and processes in supply chain management which can be used by everybody: SCOR – a process reference model. The purpose of a process reference model, or business process framework, is to define process architecture in a way that aligns with key business functions and goals. The first public SCOR DS training took place 2 weeks ago in Frankfurt. The wonderful Andreas Kerst and Douglas Kent have told their story about the supply chain game using the SCOR DS model.

Our next SCOR DS workshop will take place as virtual classroom on December 19-20, 2022! Registrations are still possible!
