Young Professionals Challenge 2026 in Munich

Team DOKA wins the 18th Supply Chain competition.

On June 26, 2026, we successfully hosted the 18th Young Professionals Challenge (YPC) in Munich. Three corporate teams – DOKA, Lindt & Sprüngli, and Tchibo – competed against each other, demonstrating their supply chain expertise, teamwork, and decision-making skills.

The competition was based on the internationally recognized business simulation The Fresh Connection, where participants took on the role of the management team of a virtual fruit juice company. Working across the functions of Procurement, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain, each team had to make strategic and tactical decisions over multiple simulation rounds to maximize business performance.

The Young Professionals Challenge provides an engaging and practical learning experience, highlighting the importance of cross-functional collaboration and an effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Participants gain valuable hands-on experience while networking with young supply chain professionals from other companies.

After an exciting competition, Team DOKA achieved the highest overall performance and claimed first place. We would like to congratulate the winning team on this outstanding achievement. We also extend our sincere thanks to the teams from Lindt & Sprüngli and Tchibo for their excellent performance, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

As the winning team, DOKA received one year of complimentary access to the PMI eLearning Academy and qualified for the Global Professional Challenge 2026, where winning teams from around the world will compete in the international finals.
