The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) has launched the SCOR Digital Standard, an update to the traditional SCOR model, designed to drive digital transformation & sustainability reporting in supply chains. This new standard was the focal point of a recent episode of "The Rebound" podcast, hosted by Abe Eshkenazi, CEO of ASCM, and Bob Trebilcock, Editorial Director of Supply Chain Management Review.
In this episode, Peter Bolstorff, ASCM's Executive Vice President of Innovation and Business Intelligence, explained the need for this update. "The SCOR Digital Standard addresses critical gaps in the old model, incorporating new processes and metrics that align with today's digital capabilities," Bolstorff said. Key enhancements include the addition of strategic sourcing, orchestration, and a robust focus on sustainability and the triple bottom line.
The SCOR Digital Standard offers organizations a comprehensive tool to benchmark their operations, assess digital maturity, and chart a path for future improvements.
