Schneider Electric GmbH wins the Autumn edition of the online simulation competition "The Fresh Connection" and secures the title of German Autumn Champion in the Global PRO Challenge 2023!
After three intense weeks of competition, Schneider Electric GmbH's team has earned a well-deserved victory. Their success strategy emphasized the importance of prioritizing high quality over cost, leading to an impressive performance. An important lesson learned was that they initially faced challenges such as high levels of production waste and associated CO2 costs. However, through efficiency measures and reducing waste, they successfully improved their CO2 footprint.
Participants from Schneider Electric GmbH also highlighted the importance of a clear strategy and supplier selection to align the CO2 footprint with customer commitments. Additionally, they plan to undergo further training in finance and supply chain management to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Schneider Electric's team will represent Germany at the Global PRO Finals taking place fromNovember 13 to 17, 2023. As a prize, the top three winning teams in the finals will receive a three-day ExecEd course at the prestigious Cranfield University in Cranfield, UK, in spring 2024.
