SCOR and Nachhaltigkeit

We are in the midst of the summer break and have curated a selection of recommended books for those interested in topics related to the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model and sustainability. Instead of presenting an overly long list of 10 books, we have focused on three, two of which are true classics.

These works provide deep insights and practical approaches for sustainable and efficient supply chain planning and management.

1. Sustainable Supply Chain Orchestration by Deborah Dull & Douglas Kent
This book offers valuable strategies and methods for integrating sustainability into the supply chain. Deborah and Douglas provide practical examples and demonstrate how companies can successfully implement sustainable practices.

2. Supply Chain Excellence by Peter Bolstorff & Robert Rosenbaum
A classic in the field of supply chain management, this book provides comprehensive insights into the implementation of the SCOR model. Peter and Robert share best practices and success strategies for optimizing the supply chain and increasing efficiency.

3. Quintessenz des Supply Chain Managements by Rolf Poluha
Rolf offers an in-depth analysis of the principles of supply chain management and their application in practice. This 2010 work is particularly valuable for those who want to quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of the complex processes and challenges of supply chain management in German.
