Personal exchange remains the greatest source of inspiration

Successful ASCM CONNECT EUROPE 2023 in Brussels

ASCM CONNECT EUROPE 2023 concluded in Brussels City on June 28, leaving participants feeling energized and inspired.  Over two days, supply chain professionals engaged in 17 educational sessions and more than 8 hours of networking (including dancing in the evening) at this highly impactful event.

One of the main highlights was the focus on achieving supply chain excellence through the application of the SCOR Digital Standard (SCOR DS). The SCOR DS, the newest iteration of the widely accepted and open-access supply chain standard, incorporates sustainability standards and enables a more synchronized network approach.

Participants eagerly sought expert insights and tips on implementing the SCOR DS and orchestrating supply chain excellence. The conference provided a platform for practitioners to learn from experienced professionals, exchange best practices, and collectively overcome common challenges.

Peter Bolstorff, Executive Vice President ASCM & Conference Host, emphasized, "As supply chain professionals, we possess the unique ability to propel a new business renaissance.  With a holistic perspective of the organization, alongside finance, we merge influential leadership and disciplined program management, guided by metrics and analytics. Embracing chaos and prioritizing process, we wholeheartedly embrace technology."

Andrea Walbert, Managing Partner of PMI affirmed that it was a genuine community exchange event and expressed her intention to participate again next year.

Save the date for next year: The conference will return to Brussels for ASCM CONNECT Europe 2024! Spread the word and mark your calendars for June 4-5, 2024, at The Hotel Brussels.
