The German Logistics Association (BVL) e.V. and PMI Production Management Institute GmbH are deepening their long-standing collaboration. With the introduction of the new certificate program “AI Driver’s License”, BVL has reviewed its entire training portfolio. The outcome: Out of more than 55 seminars and certificate programs, 44 are now officially recognized for earning APICS maintenance points.
This development provides professionals and managers in Germany with even broader access to high-quality learning content that combines international standards with the specific requirements of the German logistics sector. The cooperation further enhances the visibility and availability of internationally recognized APICS certifications in Supply Chain Management on the German market.
Andrea Walbert, Managing Partner of PMI, emphasizes the value of continuous education: “Maintenance points are earned through ongoing professional development in supply chain management, logistics, and IT, as well as through active involvement in professional associations such as BVL or ASCM. The BVL courses offer an ideal opportunity to foster lifelong learning.”

Notably, maintenance points can also be earned through BVL membership (2 APICS points per year), participation in theBVL Supply Chain CX Congress(1 APICS point per event hour), and attendance atBVL regional group events or company visits(1 APICS point per hour).
