If you hold an APICS certification, you must maintain it every 5 years. As an APICS/ASCM partner since 1989 our mission is the support individuals maintain their APICS certifications while enhancing their learning journey. This is how we contribute to APICS certification maintenance:
- We provide access to continuing education: We offer opportunities for individuals to earn maintenance points by participating in our educational programs and events. ASCM awards maintenance points for attending relevant training sessions, which can be used to fulfill certification maintenance requirements. These programs include our seminars, workshops, Fresh Connection challenges, certificates, and self-study material. Every training hour (expert-led seminar) or estimated study hour (self-study) accounts for 1 maintenance point.
- We facilitate networking and collaboration: Our Supply Chain Learning Days and similar networking events provide a platform for professionals to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. These interactions can be valuable for gaining insights into industry trends, best practices, and real-world challenges, which can contribute to the ongoing learning journey. Every hour spent in networking events is rewarded with 1 maintenance point.
- We provide access to industry experts to stay updated with trends: We continuously update our curriculum to align with the latest developments in supply chain management. This ensures that individuals are exposed to the most relevant and current information, which is essential for certification maintenance. As an example, completing one of the ASCM certificates (e.g. ASCM SC Planning Certificate) combined with our expert best practice webinar series will grant you 32 maintenance points.
