From December 2-5, we hosted another successful edition of the Supply Chain Learning Days in Munich – a unique concept combining hands-on learning, personal interaction, and inspiring evening events. These days were much more than just courses: they provided a platform for in-depth learning and meaningful networking on equal footing.
Three Courses, One Goal: Supply Chain Excellence
During the day, participants engaged in three renowned programs:
- APICS CTSC (Certified in Transformation for Supply Chain) – a course focused on practical solutions for supply chain transformation. Learn more here.
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) – the foundation for effective inventory management and planning. Discover more here.
- ASCM SCOR DS Workshop – a deep dive into the SCOR approach for end-to-end optimization. Find details here.
Delivered by our experienced trainers, the sessions offered numerous practical approaches to address modern supply chain challenges. However, the real highlight was the personal exchange: during breaks and between sessions, participants engaged in intensive discussions, shared experiences, and built connections that will last far beyond the event.
Inspiring Evening Highlights
The evenings of the Supply Chain Learning Days were equally enriching:
- Guest Lecture by Hans Ehm (Infineon): The ASCM Award of Excellence 2024 winner shared exclusive insights into Infineon’s transformation, including the use of the SCOR model and the development of a tailored, scalable supply chain. The lively discussions with participants that followed made this evening unforgettable.
- Brewery Visit at Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu: A relaxed end to the week with a brewery tour. Participants enjoyed typical Bavarian delicacies such as Leberkäse and pretzels – paired with freshly tapped beer – at the brewery’s guest area, 35 meters above Munich, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
The Success of the Concept
The Supply Chain Learning Days have once again demonstrated the value of personal interaction and in-person events. This concept combines in-depth expertise with informal networking, creating a unique value for all participants.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, speakers, and partners who made this event a success. We look forward to the next edition of the Supply Chain Learning Days!
