PMI and BVL cooperation agreement

Created by Anja Stubbe (BVL) |

PMI and Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. agreed to a close working relationship of both associations in the field of education.

The S&OP Workshop on July 1-2 in Planegg/Munich marks the beginning of this new collaboration. During this workshop participants will experience how an S&OP process can efficiently be designed, and how a good sales and distribution planning has an influence on a company´s service level, inventory and finance. This knowledge will then be used in the realistic, web-based Supply Chain serious game The Fresh Connection, where the participants make decisions about the future of a simulated company.

In addition, a close collaboration regarding the certification seminar Supply Chain Manager (BVL) is also planned. Together PMI and BVL want to offer customers of BVL Seminare the opportunity to complete their training with the worldwide recognized APICS certification Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Starting 2020, interested participants will be able to replace the third module of the seminar Supply Chain Manager (BVL) with a special PMI seminar to cover the necessary content for the exam. Participants who do the first two modules of the Supply Chain Manager (BVL) in combination with the PMI seminar can register for the APICS CSCP exam with PMI.
