The PMI Production Management Institute together with the trade magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE continue their successful education initiative for junior employees, with the Young Professionals Day in 2018.
The 1. Young Professionals Day SCM und Logistik 2018 will take place on July 19, 2018 from 9:00 to 18:00 (CEST) at the University of Applied Sciences Munich.
What is the education event about?
► Foster teamwork as well as joined-up thinking and emphasize it as a competitive advantage
► Manage within a team specific Supply Chain challenges using a realistic SCM business game
► Train conscious performance through distinct role allocation in Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing and Operations.
► Acquire and analyze data quickly and prioritize relevant decisions under time pressure
► Scrutinize the weighting of individual targets to maximize the overall performance
► Work on resolving conflict
► Take team important findings back into your daily work routine
In addition, participating teams compete within a contest. Special highlight: participating teams will qualify for the online competition The Fresh Connection Global Professional Challenge 2019, a competition where teams from more than 30 countries compete yearly against each other between April and June. The winning team out of the Pool Germany will be invited to the global final at the expense of PMI and LOGISTIK HEUTE, where all country winners compete for the first prize: a four-day SCM Executive Training at the MIT in Cambridge, MA, USA.
