CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

The CSCP program encompasses a broad view of this extensive field, extending beyond internal operations to incorporate all steps along the supply chain – from the supplier, through the company and ultimately to the end consumer – and provides you with the knowledge to effectively manage and integrate these activities to maximize a company’s value chain.

The program provides professionals with the skill set essential to understand and manage the integration and coordination of activities within today’s increasingly complex supply chains. Individuals will learn how to design and develop a supply chain strategy that aligns with corporate strategy; understand how to manage supplier and customer relationships; recognize how logistics, technology, and data can enhance performance. You will discover how to achieve the perfect combination of all these processes to meet customer needs, reduce costs, and increase profits.

Target Group

 The CSCP program is ideal for professionals in operations and supply chain management. You are suited for this designation if you are

  • Interested in more depth of knowledge and understanding in the areas of supplier and customer relations, international trade, the use of information technology to enable the supply chain, and physical logistics
  • A professional who is consulting or teaching supply chain functions
  • Working with enterprise resources planning (ERP) systems

Entrance Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent plus two years work experience in SCM
  • CPIM, CIRM, CFPIM plus two years work experience in the SCM Environment
  • Five years work experience in SCM or Logistics
  • Advanced level of English  (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Minimum Level B1)

Certification

A candidate who passes the CSCP exam will receive a personalized certificate "Certified Supply Chain Professional" and is entitled to use the acronym CSCP as a title.

In Germany and Austria the administration of the certification exams is done by GSCP (Gesellschaft der Supply Chain Professionals e.V.).
