In this course, we will explore the relationship of existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply-chain-related functions. The course addresses three main topics: aligning resources with the strategic plan, configuring and integrating operating processes to support the strategic plan, and implementing change

Entrance Requirements

• The Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) module is a suggested prerequisite to the course SMR and other CPIM modules, but it is not mandatory
• Advanced level of English  (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Minimum Level B1)

Certification

The APICS CPIM-Certified in Production and Inventory Management- entails 5 APICS exams. A candidate who passes all five CPIM exams obtains the CPIM status and will receive a personalized certificate "Certified in Production & Inventory Management". The SMR is the last of the five exams.

In Germany and Austria the administration of the certification exams is done by GSCP (Gesellschaft der Supply Chain Professionals e.V.).
